Adi Kuntsman is Reader in Digital Politics, the founder of Digital Politics Summer School and the coordinator of Digital Politics PhD programme at the Department of History, Politics and Philosophy, Manchester Metropolitan University. Adi is the co-editor (with Erinma Ochu and Liu Xin) of Digital Materialities and Sustainable Futures book series at Emerald, and the author and (co) editor of many books. 

Adi’s past work explored queer and migrant on-line communities; regional Internet cultures in the Middle East and Eastern and Central Europe; digital emotions; digital memory; militarism and political violence on social media; and the use of selfies in political actions. Adi’s current work focuses on the violence of digitisation; digital rights; and environmental harms of digital technologies. In addition to research, teaching and mentorship, Adi is an artist, illustrator and book maker.
